On July 12, 2025, Pride in the Park lit up Esther Short Park with joy, color, and community spirit. What began in 1993 as a small gathering has grown into a beloved tradition in Clark County—celebrating LGBTQ+ pride, inclusion, and shared history.

This year, five Episcopal congregations—St. Anne, Holy Spirit, All Saints, St. Luke’s~San Lucas, and Good Shepherd—came together in a powerful witness of faith in action.

Coordinated by Good Shepherd, our presence offered hospitality, support, and a clear message: the Church is a place of welcome, justice, and joy for all people.

Throughout the day, we connected with over 200 community members, especially young people, sharing stories of faith, love, and identity. We were uplifted by the words of Bishop Phil LaBelle, reminding us that LGBTQ+ people are vital to the Church’s life and vision. His message of pride, solidarity, and divine love guided our witness.

Pride in the Park was more than a celebration—it was a joyful, public affirmation of who we are and who we walk with. Together, we’re building the beloved community—one smile, one story, one sacred step at a time. 🌈✝️
