Bishop Ordination

On September 14, 2024, at the Meydenbauer Center in Bellevue, Washington, we celebrated the ordination and consecration of The Rev. Dr. Philip Noah LaBelle as the Ninth Bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Olympia. The day was marked by the ceremonial seating of Bishop LaBelle, heralding a new era for the Diocese. St. Luke's/San Lucas Episcopal Church was honored to participate in this historic moment. Personally, I was privileged to serve as Deacon of the Word, making it a Saturday of deep gratitude and celebration as we welcomed our new Bishop.
