Read, Grow, and Be Blessed (Audiobook)

This video celebrates the power of early childhood and literacy.

My intention is to highlight the importance of education, including religious education, in the lives of young children.

As a volunteer with Read NorthWest (ReadNW) in Vancouver, Washington, I support a program dedicated to fostering early literacy by providing reading mentors to children. Their motto — “Literacy Builds Bright Futures” — reflects a deep belief in the transformative power of reading.

Inspired by this mission and rooted in my Christian values, my husband and I created a short audiobook:

“The Story of Anastasija: With Blessings from Scripture.”

Anastasija is a joyful, healthy three-year-old girl, lovingly raised by her parents in a small European town. Though fictional, her story is filled with spiritual truth — the beauty of growing, learning, and being held in the love of God.

May this story spark a joy for reading and nurture faith in the hearts of young children and their families.

May God’s blessings be upon all children, as they grow in wisdom, in joy, and in love.
